Stray cat, mysterious felines we sometimes see darting into abandoned buildings or even to our homes. Their shared destiny - short, difficult life. My heart bleeds seeing them. I wish I can do something, I wish I can do more for them, because I have memories in my past similar to them. The difference is that I am human, and I have the power to make a change unlike these cats, so may God bless them. *** This is a haiku-free day because we are paving the way to a love letter. I am an old soul. And today I decided to write you a letter. Sometimes, I sit and think of you. We will be each others cure for the pains, heartaches, and loneliness. God will watch us, heal us, until then my love. The many years spent without you have not gone to waste. I am preparing myself to become the better if not the best version of me for you. I can't wait to share everything to you ...

But the pain of running is an enlivening pain, unlike the endless constant miserable feeling of emptiness. Running is the opposite of emptiness. I run 3 miles a day during weekdays and 5 miles during weekends and when the weather permits. I have run along the rivers and streets of Tabaco and boulevard of Legazpi. I often run into bad part of these places and exposed my myself to dogs, weirdos, drunkards, semi- acquaintances and people who are bitter enough to think you are running to show off. So why do I do it? Because it’s free. It makes me happy to get to use my legs and keep myself fit. ...
